David Suzuki

David Suzuki was recently at the University as part of his "If You Were Prime Minister Tour." He has a suggestion to help make sure that the environment is an issue of priority in the next election. There is place on his website for everyone to send an email to all the party leaders asking them to take action. I would encourage everyone to do this. We need to start doing more than just talking about the environment. We need to take action.

I am really glad that you wrote something about him. If you haven't seen an inconvenient truth i highly recommend it.... i think the environment is such a key issue today and people still don't understand. In our schools, as teachers we should be fighting for it to be an idle free zone (which u can do through the city, signs will be put up so our children do not have to inhale all that exhaust), we should be teaching water conservation and the importance of recycling.. we should also sow them why... we should show them the beauty our world has to offer and show them what man kind is doing to poor mother earth...teach them not to litter!
